Children’s Services Council announces

Community Impact Award winners

Children's Services Council's latest Community Impact Award Winner is truly someone who goes above and beyond every day. Jeannette Smet is the Director of Youth and Family Services at the soon to be ARC of the Treasure Coast. Since taking over the operations of our funded afterschool and summer program, Jeannette has almost doubled the daily attendance in the program. Her dedication to ensuring that the youth in her programs succeed is evident by her commitment to participating in every student's IEP meetings at school to be an advocate for them. We are so grateful to have professionals like Jeannette working to support our youth. Congratulations!

Jiani Anderson, who recently took over the reins at Multicultural Resource Center, an afterschool and summer program in Fort Pierce, was also honored with a prestigious Community Impact Award. Jiani has done some incredible things in her short time at MRC, but none more exciting that forming St. Lucie County's first ever Lego League! We look forward to your continued success, Jiani! Congratulations!

Don't forget that you can nominate someone for a Community Impact award by completing a simple form on our website here.
