Atlantic Classical Orchestra performs famous Beethoven’s 5th

The Atlantic Classical Orchestra will be performing Beethoven’s famous 5th Symphony during their April Concert Series. There are few pieces of classical music as iconic and well-known. Even people who are not classical music fans have likely heard the opening notes of this work. The 5th Symphony is an excellent example of Beethoven's skill as a composer and is a must-hear for any music lover.

Though the Symphony is over two hundred years old, it remains one of the most popular and well-known classical pieces of music. The famous opening notes are instantly recognizable, and the symphony as a whole is an absolute masterpiece. The 5th Symphony will be performed by the Atlantic Classical Orchestra at the First Presbyterian Church of North Palm Beach on April 12th, Community Church of Vero Beach on April 13th, and the Lyric in Downtown Stuart on April 14th, 2023. This will be a rare opportunity to hear one of the world's most popular pieces of music performed live by one of the Treasure Coast’s most prestigious orchestras.

Additionally, during this concert, the ACO will highlight a beautiful composition by Richard Wagner, Siegfried Idyll. This composition was named after his newborn son and was originally intended to remain a private birthday gift to his wife, it was later published and truly highlights Wagner’s mastery of inspired melody. Additionally highlighted is a modern composition by João Luiz Rezende, a Concerto for Harp performed by our wonderful guest artist, Bridget Kibbey.
