MARTIN COUNTY – On April 4, the Martin Health Auxiliary held its annual luncheon at Mariner Sands Country Club. A new slate of board officers was installed for the 2016-2017 year: Bill Michaud, president; Nancyann Taylor, vice president; Shelley Guerard, treasurer; Susan Dyall, recording secretary; and Barbara Pitts, corresponding secretary.

The Auxiliary also bade “farewell” and extended its sincere gratitude to these departing board officers: Mary-Estelle Hamden, Barbara Quido, Mary Jo Horton and Gloria Colitte. While these individuals are stepping down from the Auxiliary board, they have assumed other leadership positions within the organization.

“Our offficers and board members are looking forward to another year of service to the patients and families who are served by Martin Health,” said Bill Michaud.

During the luncheon, a check for $50,000 wass presented from the Auxiliary to the leadership of Martin Health. This contribution is part of a pledge of $1.5 million made by the Auxiliary as part of their commitment to supporting “world class care on the Treasure Coast.”
