Winter Fest 2023 features open car & truck show

Like peanut butter and jelly or cookies and milk, some things just go together perfectly. One of those things is hot cars and rock and roll music, and you’ll be able to get a heaping helping of both on January 7th as the Hutchinson Island’s Winter Fest 2023 kicks off with an Open Car and Truck Show on Saturday, Jan. 7th, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Causeway Cove Marina.

This affordable, all-day, family-friendly event at 601 Seaway Drive on beautiful Hutchinson Island is open to all, and if you want to show off your sweet ride, it will set you back just $10 if you plan ahead, and $15 at the gate on the day of the show. This price includes a wristband that will give you all-access to the Winter Fest music, food vendors, and artisans and crafts market. Plus, you get to show off that gorgeous set of wheels you’ve worked so hard to keep clean and pristine while you listen to a rock lineup for the ages, including a Tribute to  Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Start Me Up, the most authentic recreation of the Rolling Stones you’ll ever stick your tongue out to, Florida’s own classic cosmonaut, Shovelhed, and Band Courage – a main stage tribute to Courage.

Vehicles can register from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the day of show, and awards for Best of Show, Car Stock, Car Modified, Rod and Foreign, Club Participation, and Trucks will be awarded at 4 p.m. If you’d like to know more or snag your tickets in advance, visit www.hutchinsonislandmusicfestival.com right now, and get your 2023 started off with the roar of the engines and the scream of rock guitars.
