Fort Pierce Police Department celebrate Centennial Back the Blue event

On April 22nd, the community is invited to participate in the centennial celebration of the Fort Pierce Police Department. This is a wonderful opportunity to show your support for the men and women in uniform dedicated to keeping us safe.

The day's festivities begin with a parade over the South Bridge at 9 a.m. followed by the anniversary celebration at 10 a.m., at the Causeway Cove Marina. Come enjoy free hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks and meet members of the Fort Pierce Police Department, St. Lucie Fire Department, and St. Lucie County Sheriff's Department. The event is totally free.

The day's events will include - A Youth Fishing Workshop Presented by Fort Pierce Sportfishing Club, First Responder Vehicle Displays, Live Music by “Bamboo”, Face Painting, Bounce Houses, K9 Demonstrations, and much more! The Fort Pierce Sportfishing Club will also be giving away 50 kid’s rods, reels, and tackle boxes so come early!!

 

Participants wishing to take part in the parade should arrive at Causeway Cove Marina no later than 8:30 a.m.
