Indian River County Landfill to produce natural gas

Nopetro Renewables, a developer and operator of renewable natural gas projects, has begun construction in Indian River County on a landfill gas to renewable natural gas facility.

Florida Forklift coming to Dragonfly Commerce Park in Tradition

Adjacent to Amazon, FedEx, Cheney Brothers and Costco in the Southern Grove area of Tradition, Dragonfly Commerce Park is under construction and pre-leasing now. Bays from 12,000 square feet to full buildings are available with occupancy planned for 1st Quarter, 2025. John Gehrhardt, President of Florida Forklift saw an opportunity to lease Class A industrial space, built to his specific requirements. Mr. Gehrhardt stated, “After an extensive, 1-year search, we concluded there was no other project on the Treasure Coast with the unique characteristics and excellent highway access of Dragonfly Commerce Park. We can’t wait to move in to our new 18,000 square foot space!”

Lease announced for Interstate Crossroads Logistics Center in Fort Pierce

CBRE has arranged a new 1,013,833-square-foot industrial lease on behalf of SL Industrial Partners at 5001 Crossroads Parkway in Fort Pierce, Florida, marking the largest industrial lease in Florida year-to-date. Atlanta-based BroadRange Logistics, an ultra-flex third-party logistics (3PL) warehousing and service provider, will occupy the space in late 2024. This lease marks BroadRange Logistics’ third warehouse in Florida, with additional operations in Orlando and Ocala, but their first warehouse in South Florida.

Percentage of American workers feeling financially well rises to 47%

Today, 47 percent of American workers feel financially well, up from 42 percent at this time last year. This is according to Bank of America's 14th annual Workplace Benefits Report, “The Resurging Workforce." Conducted in partnership with Bank of America Institute, the report also found that 53 percent of employees are concerned that economic uncertainty will affect their long-term retirement savings, down from 63 percent in 2023.

Award-winning sauce becomes a fundraiser for the homeless

Being called sweet and spicy is a true compliment for The Source when they’re told how delicious their barbecue sauce is. The other compliment is that the culinary team and creative staff of the Vero Beach non-profit, that works tirelessly to end homelessness in Indian River County, has developed a product of their own that is being sold to the public with 100% of the proceeds going directly towards their mission.

Vero Beach Museum of Art Hosts Sold-Out Event

More than 600 Vero Beach Museum of Art members, exhibition sponsors, and special guests joined photographer Robert Landau and Museum leadership on Friday, May 17, 2024, for an exclusive preview of Rock ‘N’ Roll Billboards of the Sunset Strip: Photographs by Robert Landau. The evening featured a lecture by Mr. Landau in Holmes Great Hall, followed by time in the exhibition, a book signing, and a wine reception.
