Hundreds of Costco jobs coming to Port St. Lucie

Costco will be bringing hundreds of jobs to St. Lucie County as the company develops a multi-phased cold and dry storage depot at the Sansone Group’s Legacy Park at Tradition.

VB Nopetro brings new jobs

Nopetro Renewables, a developer and operator of renewable natural gas projects across North America broke ground on a $40M facility in Vero Beach, named Vero Beach Nopetro. The facility is estimated to initially produce 3 million gallons of RNG a year and prevent 30,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions, equivalent to eliminating emissions from 4,300 passenger cars, once operational.This project, expected to be completed in early 2025, is the largest investment in Indian River County in the past three years, adding more than 40 local jobs through construction and operation.

Subaru helps tons of turtles make a Coastal Connection

Thanks to a little love from Dyer Subaru, tons of sea turtles will be making a coastal connection. On Easter weekend, hundreds of runners will take part in the Tipsy Turtle 2-Mile Fun and Festival, a one-of-a-kind race that takes participants directly along the beautiful oceanside businesses and beachfront landscape that makes Vero so unique. It’s a celebration of the start of sea turtle nesting season, which extends from March through the end of October.

The Fort Pierce Yacht Club Foundation, the charitable arm of the Fort Pierce Yacht Club (FPYC), invites you to participate in the annual charity On the Water Poker Run, Sat., April 27th at the Fort Pierce Yacht Club. Participants will enjoy a fun and challenging route, live country/southern rock music by Florida Ridge Band (3 - 6 p.m.) and dine on BBQ meals provided by event sponsor Island Pig & Fish. Prizes will be awarded for the Best Hand, Best Themed/Decorated Boat, and Best Themed/Decorated Dock.

Special guided tour of Art of the Fantastic at Backus

The A.E. Backus Museum will host a special gallery program for the exhibition Art of the Fantastic: Imaginative Illustration from the Korshak Collection on Saturday, April 20 from 1:30 - 3:30 pm.
