National Healthcare Decisions Day 2024

Small Business Checkpoint: striking a balance

Bank of America announced a record year for its patent portfolio, which has grown to nearly 6,600 granted patents and pending patent applications – a year-over-year increase of 13 percent, and an increase of nearly 70 percent since 2019.

50^th Operation Homecoming for Honor Flight

On Saturday April 6^th, Southeast Florida Honor Flight volunteers will be escorting a full load of veterans on the free trip of a lifetime as the first Honor Flight of 2024 takes off for a daylong trip to Washington, D.C. The flight marks the 50^th flight for Southeast Florida Honor Flight, which has transported 3,816 of the area’s veterans on what most call one of the most special and memorable days of their lives. Even if you’re not on the flight as a veteran or volunteer guardian, you can help welcome the veterans home after a very moving day in Washington, DC.

Call to Artists for juried photo competition

Through the Eye of the Camera, the A.E. Backus Museum & Gallery’s annual juried photography exhibition, returns to provide amateur and professional artists a great opportunity to be a part of this enduring and coveted competitive survey. Entries in both traditional and digital photography will be accepted by advance appointment April 10 through May 3.
