VERO BEACH – The Youth Guidance 42nd Annual Tropical Night Luau is less than one month away. Scheduled for Saturday, June 8, 2019, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m., the event is located at the Oak Harbor Club in Vero Beach. Known as “Vero’s best party of the year” the Tropical Night Luau includes dining, dancing to the Gypsy Lane Band, and a fabulous evening with friends. There will also be an exciting silent and live auction. Tickets are $125 each and include an elegant tropical buffet and two free drinks and can be purchased at www.youthguidanceprogram.org.

All proceeds support the Youth Guidance Mentoring Academy. Youth Guidance is dedicated to enriching the lives of Indian River County youth through mentoring relationships that inspire trust, self-esteem, and positive futures. Youth Guidance works with kindergarten through 12th-grade children. The programs are all free and children are provided with a nutritious meal before evening programs.

The Youth Guidance children are all from low-income homes, who without guidance, may remain trapped in a cycle of generational poverty, dimming their hopes for the future. With direction from the staff, mentors, and volunteers, the children can experience a path toward a brighter future.
