VERO BEACH — Treasure Coast Food Bank will host a Fall Harvest Dinner to celebrate the bounty of the season and its focus on providing nutritious, locally grown fresh produce to those struggling with hunger.

The farm-to-table dinner takes place on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Schacht Groves, 6100 12th Street in Vero Beach. Gather under the lakeside pavilion for a hearty dinner created by Wild Thyme Catering and featuring the flavors of the season. Guests will enjoy the sounds of the Blue Cypress Bluegrass Band while perusing silent auction items as chefs prepare a hearty dinner under the stars.

The meal will feature Pork Loin with Dijon crème sauce, Chicken Marsala, garlic mashed potatoes, and green bean almandine, Wild Thyme Runner Punch with Tito’s Vodka, and craft beers donated by Walking Tree Brewery. Dessert will be provided by Healthy Harvest Catering – a program of Treasure Coast Food Bank. Event sponsors are the George E. Warren Corporation, John and Joyce Slavsky, Berry Fresh Café and EcoTone Farms.

Marking its 30th year in service to people struggling with hunger, Treasure Coast Food Bank spotlights its mission to end hunger by providing nutritious food to those in need through collaborations with area farmers and offering programs for a holistic approach to solving hunger.
