FORT PIERCE – St. Lucie Battery & Tire has become a Strategic Partner of the Boys & Girls Club of St. Lucie County. The locally based company donated $10,000 to support the Club’s programming.

“We’re proud to support the Boys & Girls Club and their mission to enable all young people especially those that need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens,” said Doug Miller, general manager of St. Lucie Battery & Tire.

St. Lucie Battery & Tire has been an integral part of the community since it first opened in the early 1970s. Founder Joey Miller has supported dozens of local organizations and non-profits throughout the area. His strong sense of community has helped the company grow to 12 stores that reach as far south as West Palm Beach.

“We are extremely thankful to have St. Lucie Battery & Tire join us as a strategic partner,” added Will Armstead, CEO, BGC of SLC. “We serve thousands of young people and costs to provide those services continue to rise. Our business partners make what we do possible.”
