Economic Development Council names Perlis Communications Manager
The Economic Development Council of St. Lucie County announced that Maureen Saltzer will retire July 3 after nearly 20 years of service to the organization, and Wicker Perlis joined the EDC June 22 as marketing and communications manager.
The City of Fort Pierce announced that Mayor Linda Hudson and Commissioner Curtis Johnson Jr. have been named 2026 Home Rule Heroes by the Florida League of Cities. The annual award recognizes local government officials who work to protect the home rule authority of Florida municipalities and advocate for local decision-making during the state legislative session.
First United Methodist Stuart welcomes Rev. Dwayne Craig
First United Methodist Church of Stuart announced the appointment of the Rev. Dwayne J. Craig as senior pastor. Craig will deliver his first sermon to the congregation Sunday, July 5, 2026.
