Global company plans to manufacture armored vehicles in Fort Pierce

INKAS®, a global conglomerate headquartered in Toronto, Canada, plans to manufacture armored vehicles in the city of Fort Pierce, Florida. The company’s US branch, INKAS USA, Inc., will locate an $18.75 million manufacturing facility on Enterprise Road at the site of a former tomato packing facility. The INKAS Group of Companies has operations in the Americas and Africa and is an integrated security solutions provider to industry and high-profile individuals around the world.

New Born Learning Trail Opens Beachside in Vero Beach

United Way of Indian River County, in partnership with Communications International and the City of Vero Beach, unveiled a New Born Learning Trail at Jaycee Park, offering families an interactive educational experience. This trail, the 7th in Indian River County, is designed to engage parents, grandparents, and caregivers in fun learning activities with children. A few weeks ago, employees from Communications International enthusiastically joined the effort, bringing their creativity to life by designing and painting the trail’s interactive signs.
