Entrepreneurial Schlitt family ubiquitous in
Vero business community
VERO BEACH — Vero Beach’s prodigious Schlitt family reaches into virtually every facet of the community. More than 100 members of the entrepreneurial family live in Indian River County, and if they’re old enough to work, they probably have some kind of business related to the home industry. Their names grace buildings, are signed on thousands of architectural blueprints and appear as signatures on checks that make things happen. The family is featured in the new edition of Indian River Magazine, available at hundreds of locations throughout the Treasure Coast.
The Indian River County Bar Association will host an “Ask a Lawyer’’ event Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Indian River County Public Library main branch, 1600 21st St., Vero Beach. The event is part of the association’s Pro Bono Week Oct. 25-31.
