VERO BEACH — CenterState Bank has announced the promotion of Chris Bieber to the position of area executive for Indian River County.

Bieber began his banking career at Indian River National Bank/RBC and was instrumental in helping to form the CenterState Bank office in Vero Beach, where he has served as the vice president and commercial lender since 2009.

“The performance of this banking center is a reflection of the hard work several team members have put forth during the last five years of its existence and Chris Bieber’s leadership role has been significant in the growth the bank has experienced,” said Mark Thompson, EVP for CenterState Bank. “With 15 years of banking experience, we are very proud to have Chris Bieber leading our team in the Indian River County market.”

Bieber recently graduated from the Stonier Graduate Banking Program as well as the Wharton Leadership program. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Education Foundation of Indian River and serves on the Dancing with Vero’s Stars committee for the annual signature event for the Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition. He is a member of the Florida Bar Judicial Grievance Committee for the 19th Circuit and has also helped CenterState Bank on several due diligence teams for many of the regional bank acquisitions.
