FORT PIERCE – The Golden Ponds Community of Fort Pierce recently donated the proceeds of their Annual Chicken Salad Lunch to aid patient care at Treasure Coast Hospice. This year, the donated funds totaled $7,680.

Over the past 10 years, the Golden Ponds Community has donated more than $52,000 to Treasure Coast Hospice and has shown generosity beyond this with funds raised before 2007.

“So many people in our community have had a personal experience with hospice,” said Frank Genevick, committee member of the Annual Chicken Salad Lunch. “We wanted to hold a fundraiser to support something that was so useful to the community.”

The committee for this event included Frank and Sue Genevick and Barbara Boate. All proceeds will go to aid patient care at Treasure Coast Hospice.
