Taylor Morrison expanding in Port St. Lucie
PORT ST. LUCIE — Taylor Morrison plans to build two new residential communities in Port St. Lucie with more than 1,750 homes, including one centered around an 18-hole golf course.
The homebuilder recently acquired land for Esplanade at Solaeris and Azure at Solaeris, two communities planned within the 3,300-acre Solaeris master-planned development.
According to the company, Esplanade at Solaeris will include about 1,200 residences made up of single-family homes, villas and condominiums. The gated community is planned with a resort-style pool and spa, golf course, dining venues, fitness and wellness facilities, and courts for tennis, pickleball and bocce. Sales are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2027.
Taylor Morrison executive Jeremy Goulart said the expansion reflects continued growth in the Treasure Coast housing market.
“We’re thrilled to expand our footprint in Port St. Lucie with more than 1,750 new homes across two exceptional communities in the heart of the region’s growth corridor,” said Goulart, the company’s Treasure Coast vice president of operations.
A second development, Azure at Solaeris, is planned with about 552 single-family homes. Amenities are expected to include a pool, cabana, splash pad, basketball court and dog park. Initial site work is underway, and sales are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027.
Taylor Morrison also said the new communities will be located a few miles northwest of its Esplanade at Tradition development and near shopping, dining, entertainment, health care and beaches.
Cammie Longenecker, Taylor Morrison’s president of resort lifestyle, said the company sees the new golf-centered Esplanade community as a follow-up to its existing Port St. Lucie development.
“Following the success of Esplanade at Tradition, we’re excited to introduce a second Esplanade resort lifestyle community to Port St. Lucie,” Longenecker said.
Taylor Morrison said its Esplanade brand includes more than 30 communities nationwide and has recently expanded into markets including Las Vegas; Charlotte, North Carolina; St. Marys, Georgia; Temecula, California; and Sacramento, California
