THE LEAD STORY
A Renaissance on the river:
Development, major improvements and great optimism still characterize what Historic Downtown Fort Pierce experienced during the past year. The long-awaited construction of King’s Landing has finally taken its first steps. The Indian River Drive corridor to downtown is undergoing a massive facelift, and Boston House will offer hungry patrons fine foods in its new restaurant.
FPRA offers $5,000 commercial sign grants to local businesses
The Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency (FPRA) is offering reimbursable grants of up to $5,000 per property to help businesses install new signage or replace outdated signs. This funding is available now and can significantly offset costs for business owners looking to enhance their visibility and modernize their storefronts.
Treasure Coast Hospice has earned a 4-Star Quality Rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) through the CMS Hospice Care Compare program. The designation is based on the most recent feedback from patients’ families and caregivers who shared their experiences through the nationally standardized Hospice CAHPS® Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) Hospice Family Experience Survey.
