The real estate market across Florida’s Treasure Coast experienced a seasonal slowdown in home sales, typical for the period between the active summer months and the quieter winter season. However, experts predict a more robust market ahead, with increased housing supply potentially driving prices down in favor of buyers.

Martin Loan Fund launches to empower local entrepreneurs

The Business Development Board of Martin County (BDBMC) and Inclusifi launched the Martin Loan Fund, a new resource to help smaller, newer businesses – many of which are newer and smaller – to access much-needed capital. This partnership connects local entrepreneurs with a mission-driven lender in order to fill a critical funding gap – many startups and young companies struggle to get traditional bank loans. “By partnering with Inclusifi, we are giving Martin County’s entrepreneurs a new way to turn their ideas into reality, expand their companies, and make lasting contributions to our community,” said William Corbin, Executive Director of BDBMC.

Dyer Difference Award recognizes little birthdays and big moments

It is believed that approximately 75 percent of the population experiences glossophobia, or fear of public speaking. That translates to more than 200 million worldwide, and sometimes that fear can limit individuals, especially youth, from doing and becoming all they want to be. The pros at StageFright Academy understand that fear, and their goal is to help give young people of the Treasure Coast a safe and inclusive space to create by cultivating an environment that encourages kindness, dedication, and an approach to theatre that helps to shape students into open-minded, professional creatives.
