Floresta mapCrosstown Parkway Extension Project Update

PORT ST. LUCIE – Beginning Sunday, August 25, at 9 p.m., the contractor for the Crosstown Parkway Extension Project will be closing Floresta Drive between Atlantus Avenue and Chaloupe Avenue during nighttime hours for an anticipated two weeks. The nighttime hours will be from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The closure is necessary to complete asphalt paving and roadway activities at Floresta Drive and Crosstown Parkway. Motorists are encouraged to use the detour route already in place including Thornhill Drive, Sandia Drive and Evergreen Terrace.

Additional nighttime road closures are anticipated for two nights on Village Green Drive east of U.S. Highway 1 from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., starting on Sunday, August 25 to Tuesday, August 27. This closure is necessary for asphalt overbuild activities on Village Green Drive. Village Green Drive will be closed at Niemeyer Circle and motorists will be directed to use Walton Road.
