Women on the Treasure Coast are three times as WILD

The Inner Truth Project (ITP) is thrilled to announce the return of their wildly successful W.I.L.D. (Women Involved in Learning & Discovery) Outdoors fundraiser for the third year in a row! This event has sold out every year, and 2025 promises to be no exception, with spots expected to fill fast. This year, participants will be treated to half a dozen new and innovative classes to enrich their outdoor experience and skills.

W.I.L.D. Outdoors is an all-day experience that brings women from across the community together to learn new outdoor skills, explore new hobbies, meet friends, and enjoy the stunning natural surroundings of an 800-acre working cattle ranch.

The January 25th event is organized by The Inner Truth Project, a local nonprofit organization that offers outreach and services to survivors of sexual violence. This year’s exciting lineup of activities includes archery, fly fishing, beekeeping, clay shooting, woodworking, camping basics, line dancing, nature photography, self-defense, and more.

Attendees will gather at the picturesque Mancil Ranch off the historic County Road 714, where they’ll kick off the day with breakfast, participate in four hours of hands-on classes, and bond over lunch.

“This event is more than just an outdoor adventure,” said Jessica Bright, Executive Director of The Inner Truth Project. “It’s a chance for women to come together, learn new skills, and empower each other. The supportive atmosphere, combined with the beauty of nature, creates a powerful opportunity for healing and growth.”

Proceeds from W.I.L.D. Outdoors will go toward supporting and providing counseling to survivors of sexual violence throughout the Treasure Coast. Alissa Haddad Scott, Chair of the event for the third year, expressed her excitement: “This year’s new classes make the event even more dynamic, and I’m so proud to continue helping our community learn about the vital services provided by The Inner Truth Project.”

The Fetterman Law Group is once again the Presenting Sponsor for W.I.L.D. Outdoors, alongside these generous community supporters: Dyer Chevrolet, Ashley Capital, Gunster Law Firm, Enchanted Midnight Sun, Morgan & Morgan, Salazar/Atlas – Raymond James, Card House Port St. Lucie, Morgan Stanley – Espinal, Stern & Whittington, FPL, Harmony Management Group, Inc., Paul J Feinsinger, CPA, CFP, Attorney Donna Fullmer DeMarchi, The Wild Gamettes, and the St. Lucie County Property Appraiser’s Office.
