Vero Beach Recreation Department plans parade

The City of Vero Beach Recreation Department announces plans for the 64th Annual Halloween Parade & Costume Contest. The festive event, which is open to children of all ages will be held Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024 in downtown Vero Beach.

Families are invited to celebrate this most joyful of holidays and all are encouraged to don Halloween costumes or enter a float or vehicle in the paradee. Everything is free, and all children ages 0 – 17 in costume will receive a goodie bag. Prizes for best float/vehicle and best costumes will also be awarded!

Line up begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Vero Beach Women’s Club and will travel to the Vero Beach Community Center where the costume contest will be held immediately following the parade.

Don’t want to walk in the parade? No worries! Spectators are welcome to view the parade along 14th Avenue between 21st Street & 23rd Street!
