TCBA Charitable Fund presents Workforce Innovator Award to Jill Marasa of Ashley Capital
The Treasure Coast Builders Association (TCBA) Charitable Fund presented the Workforce Innovator Award to Jill Marasa of Ashley Capital at its first annual Tricks, Treats & Trades Fundraiser on October 24 at the Indian River State College Eastman Advanced Workforce Training Complex. The event brought together community leaders and industry professionals to celebrate workforce development and recognize individuals who have made an outstanding impact on the construction trades.
Marasa was recognized for her visionary leadership and commitment to workforce innovation. She played a key role in launching the original Manufacturing Bootcamp in 2017, which laid the foundation for what has grown into Careers in Construction Week (formerly Skilled Trades Bootcamp), an annual event that now introduces hundreds of local students to hands-on experiences in construction and related fields.
“Jill’s innovation and passion for workforce development are essential to what we do,” said Deb Frazier, Executive Officer of the TCBA Charitable Fund. “Her efforts have inspired collaboration and created meaningful opportunities for students across the Treasure Coast.”
“Jill has been a driving force behind creating meaningful pathways for students to connect with industry professionals,” said Jen Williams, Director of Workforce Development at the TCBA Charitable Fund. “Her vision has helped lay the foundation for the workforce initiatives we’re so proud to continue today.”
Funds raised from the Tricks, Treats & Trades Fundraiser will directly support the TCBA Charitable Fund’s workforce initiatives, including Careers in Construction Week and partnerships with local schools and community organizations throughout the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee counties.
