Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Co. sold

Fort Pierce based Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Company has been sold to Perricone Farms, a company out of Newport Beach, California. Despite the change of beaches it calls home, you’re not likely to notice any change in the taste or look of Natalie’s legendary juices.

According to the company’s website, “Perricone Farms and Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Company have come together for an unrivaled partnership that will expand and fortify our undisputed reputation for being the best juice providers in America. By unifying these two entities, we strengthen our purpose driven mission to deliver world-class products coast to coast on larger scale.”

The acquisition is expected to strengthen both brands “By unifying these two entities” says the company’s website, “we strengthen our purpose-driven mission to deliver world-class products coast to coast, on a larger scale. Perricone Farms brings its extensive experience in the food service industry and bi-coastal distribution network, while Natalie’s Juices has built a reputation for delivering unrivaled small-batch, authentically fresh juices to a large network of retailers across the country.”

Perricone Farms, third-generation family-owned grower, has long relied on family values and a commitment to natural, quality farm-to-table agricultural and production processes, much like Natalie’s Juices. Bob Rovzar, CEO of Perricone Farms said of the acquisition, “We are excited to add Natalie’s to the Perricone Juices’ family. Natalie’s commitment to producing the highest quality products, combined with unmatched customer service, aligns with the core values we have been providing in the marketplace for years. Working together, we will emerge even stronger and will be able to provide greater value to our customers.”

The enthusiasm for the merger seems to be mutual, and in a statement, Marygrace Sexton, founder of Natalie’s Juices echoed Rovzar’s sentiments. Speaking directly to Natalie’s loyal and long-time customers, she said, “The depth of our relationship with you has been the driving force behind the growth of Natalie’s. Because of you, we have been able to provide world-class juice on a worldwide scale.  As you know, Natalie’s has always been a brand that is built to last, and this partnership ensures that we can continue providing you with the freshest, highest-quality juices you’ve come to love for generations to come.”

Key members of the family that have built the Natalie’s brand over the past 35 years will remain invested in the new ownership and business and remain a key part of the leadership team.

Both families will continue to play active roles in the company as members of the senior leadership team (and will remain active investors in the new business entity), ensuring that the values and traditions that built these brands are upheld.

There are currently no plans to eliminate products, and the company anticipates improved efficiency and customer service because of the expanded operations. Consumers who have enjoyed Natalie’s Orchid Island Juices are encouraged to email customer.service@oijc.com or call 772.465.1122 with any questions or concerns.
