Mindi Fetterman delivers powerful TEDx talk on trauma and healing
Mindi Fetterman, founder of The Inner Truth Project and a passionate advocate for survivors of sexual trauma, recently took the TEDx stage in Port St. Lucie to share her impactful message about trauma, resilience, and the power of community. Her talk, titled Healing Through Truth and Connection, explored the deep need for safe spaces where survivors can heal and thrive.
As a Florida mom and wife, Fetterman’s dedication to helping others is grounded in both her personal and professional experiences. She continues her mission of creating spaces for survivors to heal and thrive, both as the Board President of The Florida Council Against Sexual Violence and as the owner of Real Grounded Therapy, LLC. Her advocacy efforts aim to empower survivors to reclaim their stories and navigate the path toward healing.
In her TEDx talk, Fetterman shared, “Survivors need more than just a place to tell their story—they need a community where they feel seen, heard, and supported in their journey to recovery.”
Her leadership at The Inner Truth Project, a nonprofit organization, has created a much-needed refuge for survivors of sexual trauma to access support, education, and resources. Fetterman’s work is shaping a new narrative around healing, emphasizing that recovery is possible when survivors are met with empathy, understanding, and the tools to heal.
