May we call you Martie?

What are the MartinArts Awards?
For over 20 years, the MartinArts Awards have celebrated outstanding artistic achievement, volunteerism, and philanthropy in Martin County. This signature event recognizes individuals who enrich our community through their dedication to the arts, while inspiring a deeper appreciation and support for creative endeavors. Awards are presented in two categories: Honorary and Nominated. To see a list of past honorees and award recipients, please visit our website.
Proceeds from the MartinArts Awards support MartinArts’ year-round programs, including scholarships for student award recipients, community outreach initiatives, and efforts to inspire a passion for and partiicaption in the arts.
Who can be nominated*?
Professional Nominees must either reside in Martin County or have significant artistic and civic involvement within the county.
Student Nominees must be Martin County residents entering their senior year of high school (Class of 2027). Scholarships will be awarded to student recipients.
*Self-nominations are not accepted.
What happens after nominations are received?
Nominees are notified of their selection and asked to submit materials highlighting their passion, dedication, and involvement in the arts and the community, along with samples of their artwork or performances. Student nominees also participate in interviews conducted by a panel that may include past recipients, board members, professional artists, and community members. Award recipients are ultimately chosen through an anonymous review process conducted by an independent selection panel.
