John Carroll High School breaks ground on new field house

John Carroll High School is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking ceremony for its highly anticipated Athletic Field House, set to take place on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 6:15 p.m. This state-of-the-art facility will be a hub for athletic excellence, providing students with a premier space for sports, events, and activities

The ceremony will feature remarks from distinguished guests, including President Corey Heroux and Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Mickey Groody. Their presence underscores the importance of this project to the school and the broader community.

John Carroll High School President Corey Heroux expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support, stating, “This Athletic Field House represents a significant milestone for our school. Principal Michael Bryk expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “The new Athletic Field House is a dream come true for John Carroll High School. It will enhance our athletic programs and provide a versatile space for our students. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported this project.”

Athletic Director Mickey Groody added, “We are excited to break ground on our new Athletic Field House, a state-of-the-art facility that will provide our athletes with the resources they need to excel both on and off the field. This project represents our commitment to fostering a supportive and dynamic environment for our student-athletes, and we are eager to see its impact. Thank you to everyone who has supported this initiative and helped realize this vision.”

The new Field House will feature a weight room, practice turf, a “Hall of Champions” entry, bathrooms, concessions, and a ticketing window. These facilities will enhance the school’s athletic programs and provide a state-of-the-art space for various events and activities.

The John Carroll High School community is invited to join in the celebration and witness the beginning of this exciting new chapter. Following the ceremony, our first home football game will begin.
