Hummingbird Care buzzes with activity
Vero Beach native Colby Bechtold, a registered nurse, saw first-hand the struggles families go through to find or give their loved ones the care they deserve. He decided we can do better, especially for those who did so much for us and created Hummingbird Care Services.
In honor of his late grandparents, Michael & Margaret Durwin, he founded Hummingbird Care Services. The hummingbird, his grandmother’s favorite bird, is their symbol of the extraordinary care he was blessed to provide them and now extends to you and your family.
Colby started the business in January 2023 and now has five full time employees and 223 caregivers and CNA’s that work on-call with 65 current clients. He plans to expand and grow controlling quality over size of the business. “In the comfort of your nest, trust Hummingbirds Best!”
