Fort Pierce seeks artists for City Hall sculpture

The City of Fort Pierce is seeking proposals from professional artists and artist teams for a permanent outdoor sculpture planned for the front entrance of Fort Pierce City Hall, 100 N. U.S. Highway 1.

The opportunity supports the city’s ongoing effort to enhance public spaces and highlight Fort Pierce’s identity, history and culture. The artwork, to be installed along one of the city’s most visible corridors, is intended to serve as a welcoming landmark for residents and visitors.

The selected sculpture should demonstrate artistic excellence, create a strong sense of arrival, engage viewers from multiple vantage points and withstand Florida’s coastal climate.

Professional artists and artist teams with experience designing and installing large-scale, permanent public art are encouraged to apply.

Submission requirements

Applications must be submitted through the CaFÉ online system and include:

  • Preliminary concept statement
  • Proposed project timeline
  • Professional references
  • Artist website and/or social media links
  • Maintenance and protection plan
  • Comprehensive project budget

  • Long-term maintenance considerations
