City of Fort Pierce seeks applicants for Civil Service Appeals Board
The Fort Pierce City Commission invites qualified and civic-minded residents to apply for service on the Fort Pierce Civil Service Appeals Board. This important board is composed of City of Fort Pierce residents who have experience in human resources, personnel management, or organizational leadership. Board members provide valuable insight by assisting with the review of the City’s personnel rules and regulations and, as a body, hearing appeals from City employees related to dismissals, demotions, suspensions, or transfers.
Serving on the Civil Service Appeals Board offers residents a meaningful opportunity to contribute their professional expertise while supporting fairness, transparency, and due process within City operations.
Meeting Schedule: The Board meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 3:00 p.m. Appeal hearings are scheduled as needed and are held at 6:00 p.m.
