City of Fort Pierce commission seeks applicants for multiple advisory boards

Fort Pierce City Commissioners are seeking qualified residents to apply for positions on two important advisory boards: the City Planning Board and the Fort Pierce Utilities Authority (FPUA) Board.

The City Planning Board plays a vital role in shaping the future of Fort Pierce by managing growth and development in our community. Meeting on the 2nd Monday of each month at 2:00 p.m., board members help shape Fort Pierce’s future. To be eligible, applicants must be residents of Fort Pierce for at least two years. Applications for the City Planning Board can be submitted online at https://cityoffortpierce.com/144/Boards-Committees and must be received by Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

In addition, the Fort Pierce Utilities Authority (FPUA) Board is seeking civic-minded individuals to serve as at-large members. Board members help oversee essential services. Meetings are held twice per month at 4:00 p.m. To qualify, applicants must be registered voters of Fort Pierce, reside within the city limits, and have no business relationship with FPUA. Applications for the FPUA Board can also be submitted online at https://cityoffortpierce.com/144/Boards-Committees and must be received by Friday, August 23, 2024.
