Business Associates of Martin County awards scholarships to Martin County seniors

The Business Associates of Martin County (BAM) is proud to announce the selection of two Martin County seniors as recipients of its 2026 student scholarships. Alexis Caltrider and Jaren Rodriguez have each been awarded a $1,000 scholarship in recognition of their academic achievement, leadership, and future goals.

BAM is a local networking organization committed to supporting businesses while giving back to the community. One of the ways BAM fulfills this mission is through its annual scholarship program, made possible by the generosity of its members and community sponsors, such as Seacoast Bank.

“Our scholarship committee truly enjoyed learning about these students through their applications and essays,” said Amber Shirk, President of the Business Associates of Martin County. “Alexis and Jaren both demonstrated strong character, ambition, and a commitment to their future, and we are honored to support them as they take their next steps.”

Scholarship funds will be made payable directly to the schools the students will be attending and presented at upcoming award ceremonies. The recipients and their families have also been invited to attend a BAM networking breakfast to be formally recognized and to connect with local business leaders.

BAM congratulates Alexis Caltrider and Jaren Rodriguez and wishes them continued success in their academic and personal journeys.
