City of Port St. Lucie Partnering for
Better Business Program

The Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Indian River State College and the City of Port St. Lucie have partnered to bring business owners and entrepreneurs five nights of specialized training on the various operations involved with small business.

This program provides business counseling, technical assistance and training for small business owners and merchants. The purpose is to enhance business and entrepreneurial skills, create jobs and assist in the expansion and growth of our existing business community. Participants will gain:

Business Engagement and Consulting
The FSBDC and its resources will assist St. Lucie businesses in establishing one-on-one mentoring relationships with the most experienced business development professionals in the region.

Regional Connections
The FSBDC at IRSC will introduce participants to Local, State, and Federal partner agencies and organizations that are ready to assist with their business development needs.

Opportunities for Growth
Gain access to training programs like Profit Mastery and connect with local resources to promote participants best practices.

There is a fifteen-dollar registration fee for the program. Sessions begin Tuesday, October 19, 2021 and run every Tuesday night through November 16, 2021 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Port St. Lucie Community Center [2195 SE Airoso Blvd. Port St. Lucie Fl 34984].

The program is open to any and all types of entrepreneurs no matter the stage of business, start-up, established, or student.
