Do you know a woman Trailblazer in St. Lucie County, one has had a positive impact on our community? To commemorate the entennial of the League of Women Voters on Feb. 14, 2020, the League of Women Voters of St. Lucie County will recognize 100 trailblazing women in St. Lucie County who have made a difference in the community.

Nominations are not limited to political issues. Nominees should demonstrate having had a positive impact on our community; made social and or political changes, environmental improvements or educational advancements; or fueled economic development. Each selected Trailblazer will be featured on our website, social media platforms, future newsletters and media releases.

Nomination forms are available online at www.lwvslc.org or can be requested by emailing lwv.stluciecounty@gmail.com. Completed forms should be submitted by email to the same address or completed on our website by October 15, 2019.

Beginning on Oct. 16, the league’s centennial committee will review all nominations, select the Trailblazers to be profiled and contact them directly. Selected candidates will be announce beginning Nov. 6.
