VNA offers free community health screenings
VNA of the Treasure Coast will offer free blood pressure and blood glucose screenings at VNA Hidden Treasures on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from noon to 2 p.m., and Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The screenings are designed to help community members monitor key health indicators. Blood pressure screenings may help identify high blood pressure, a risk factor for heart disease and stroke. Blood glucose screenings may help identify elevated blood sugar levels that can be associated with prediabetes or diabetes.
No appointment is necessary.
