VNA Hidden Treasures honors Carol Kanarek
VNA Hidden Treasures, the thrift shop that benefits VNA Hospice, has dedicated Carol’s Corner, a new boutique section honoring VNA & Hospice Foundation board member and longtime supporter Carol Kanarek.
The section recognizes Kanarek’s decades of service, leadership and commitment to the VNA. VNA co-founder Ann Marie McCrystal proposed the tribute as a way to celebrate Kanarek’s impact on the organization and the community it serves.
“Carol has given so much to the VNA, and this was a wonderful way to honor her,” McCrystal said.
Kanarek has been involved with the VNA for decades and played a key role in bringing the concept of a VNA thrift shop to the organization.
Proceeds from VNA Hidden Treasures support VNA Hospice, helping provide care and comfort to patients and their families. The store also offers community members a way to donate gently used items and shop in support of VNA Hospice services and programs
