Opportunity for Chief Operating Officer
The Healthy Start Coalition of St. Lucie County is seeking an experienced and mission-focused Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help lead and strengthen the organization’s daily operations, program performance, compliance efforts, and overall organizational effectiveness.
This full-time leadership position is based in Fort Pierce and offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $105,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, paid parental leave, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and 403(b) retirement benefits.
The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of management experience, preferably within the nonprofit sector, along with a proven track record in executive leadership, budgeting, contract management, program operations, and performance improvement. A master’s degree in public health, maternal and child health, social services, business administration, public policy, or a related field is preferred.
Additional qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, the ability to effectively engage with diverse communities and stakeholders, and strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
