City of Fort Pierce launches Community Needs Assessment Survey for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
The City of Fort Pierce invites residents, businesses, and organizations to participate in a Community Needs Assessment Survey as part of the planning process for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.
In preparation for the upcoming funding cycle, the City is developing its 2026–2030 Consolidated Plan. This strategic plan will guide the allocation of federal resources to support key community priorities, including infrastructure enhancements, affordable housing development, and initiatives that promote economic and community development.
The Community Needs Assessment Survey is now available online at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GZWFVYV
All community members and public service providers are encouraged to complete the survey. The feedback received will play a critical role in shaping the City’s goals, strategies, and proposed projects for the next four years.
To request a paper copy of the survey, please contact the Grants Administration Division by calling 772-467-3161 or emailing grantsadministration@cityoffortpierce.com.
Survey responses will be reviewed and incorporated into the City’s 2026–2030 Consolidated Plan, helping guide future investments in housing, economic, and community development programs.
