VERO BEACH – At a well-attended open house at Youth Guidance Mentoring Academy, members of Impact 100, Indian River presented a plaque to Felix Cruz, Executive Director in recognition of the agency’s partnership with Impact 100. Over 32 women from Impact toured the facility and attended a presentation defining the impact of grant funds awarded to Youth Guidance. According to Felix Cruz, “As one of only four recipients receiving this award we are honored to march alongside Impact 100 philanthropist toward the healthy development of the children and families of Indian River County.”

About Impact 100
Indian River Impact 100 is a membership organization of over 400 women committed to improving Indian River County by changing our community in significant and meaningful ways. By pooling the $1,000 donations of each member, they are able to make significant $100,000 grants to local nonprofit organizations. Their goal is to offer women an opportunity to participate in transformational grant making, rather than traditional, transactional charitable giving. After a thorough member-led review process, grants are awarded through member voting – “team philanthropy.” Since beginning in 2008, Indian River Impact 100 has granted awards of over $3.8 million to the Indian River County community.
