This class will serve as an introduction to stage combat for the actor. The content of the class will include basic training exercises for the safe execution of unarmed theatrical violence with a strong emphasis on “acting the fight.”

Beginning Ballet: Students in this level will be introduced to classical ballet technique. Basic barre exercises will be taught and structured work away from barre will begin.

Intermediate/Advanced Ballet: Focus in this class will be on the massive amount of steps that make up the classical ballet vocabulary. Students will learn to execute a complete advanced ballet class from start to finish.

Along with Ballet, Modern Dance is considered an essential technique for any aspiring dancer. In this class students will use Hawkins based technique and energy flow to explore the traditional movement qualities and vocabulary associated with modern dance.
