VERO BEACH — Sunrise Rotary Vero Beach won three categories June 1 in Rotary District 6930’s annual awards distribution.
Sunrise Rotary won large Club of the Year 2017-18; Certificate of Excellence — Exemplary Literacy Award with 18 projects in Literacy; and 3rd in Vocational Service Recognition.
The awards ceremony was held at the Hutchinson Island Marriott in Stuart. Presenting the club was past district governor Arthur Hodge, President Elect Linda Scott, Vice President Robin Pelensky, District Vocational Chair Greg Reader and club Executive Secretary/PR Chair Deb Avery.
