VERO BEACH – Treasure Coast Community Health (TCCH) and the Rotary Club of Vero Beach Oceanside share a long history of serving the community.
The Rotary Club of Vero Beach Oceanside Foundation has generously donated $10,000 of proceeds from their recent Wild Game Feast fundraising event to TCCH. This charitable contribution will benefit TCCH’s newly opened, seventh service site located in the 787 building near the hospital.
“The Rotary’s generosity will allow us to improve the overall patient experience at our newest location,” stated Vicki Soule, CEO of TCCH. “It is our hope that the new facility will assist us in furthering our mission of providing exceptional and accessible primary care to Indian River County. I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to Oceanside Rotary for their contribution to this mission.”
TCCH’s mission is to eliminate barriers by providing affordable, quality care to ALL people. Healthcare is changing, leaving many on the outskirts of accessible, quality primary care. Personal and financial situations can be unpredictable and can leave anyone without access to the care they need. For many, it’s a daily choice between putting food on the table or seeking medical care.
As a primary care facility, however, low-income status is NOT required to receive services. TCCH operates like any other primary care facility and has credible, capable medical providers on staff. Sliding fee scale discounts are available to those who qualify; however, TCCH also accepts most private insurances.
TCCH provides comprehensive, affordable medical, dental, and behavioral health services. These primary care services include women’s health, family practice, geriatrics, pediatrics, pediatric & adult psychiatry, on-site discount pharmacies, pharmaceutical home delivery, on-site labs, x-ray services, and more.
Federally Qualified Health Centers like TCCH are America’s health care safety net, serving over 28 million patients nationwide. TCCH has served over 22,000 patients in the past year alone. Of those, 16% of the medical patients were uninsured and 44% of dental patients were uninsured while over 50% of patients were under 100% of the Federal Poverty Level.
