PORT ST. LUCIE — For the second year in a row, the management and homeowners at St. Andrews Park Villas are collecting non-perishable food items for homeless veterans in our area.  A drop off area has been set up in the clubhouse and the sales center located at 6060 NW Helmsdale Way, Port St. Lucie.

“We are asking the community to support the food drive,” said Stanley Markofsky, developer of St. Andrews Park.  “Our goal is to help as many of the homeless veterans as possible; many of these individuals fought to protect us and now some of them need our help.”

The donated food items will be collected by the United Veterans of St. Lucie County.  Angels of Hope Outreach Ministries will help coordinate the distribution of food to the veterans.
