FORT PIERCE — A&G Pools CEO Travis Leonard has committed a $10,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County.

Leonard has been a longtime supporter for the Club with the renovations to the Ken Pruitt Unit, participation with the Steak & Stake fundraiser yearly event and as lead judge for the past three years for the Youth of the Year competition.

Born in New Jersey, Leonard has called the Treasure Coast home for most of his life, graduating from Fort Pierce Westwood High School in 1996 and from Indian River State College in 1998.

Leonard learned about the construction industry from his father, who was a master plumber, building inspector and plans examiner for the City of Port St. Lucie. As a young man, Leonard put this training and a love for the water and pools, which he developed through his career as a competitive swimmer, to work at A&G, when he accepted the position of designer in 2000.

Leonard worked his way through the ranks at A&G, becoming a manager in 2006, a partner in 2008 and an independently licensed commercial and residential swimming pool contractor in 2009. Today, he is CEO, responsible for day-to-day operations and leading more than 70 full time employees. He looks forward to building on the A&G legacy by pushing the standards in pool design, construction and service to new heights.
