MARTIN COUNTY – At the annual Martin Health System associate celebration on May 17, Clint Rabant, field technician for information technology, was honored as the Associate of the Year.
Clint was chosen for this recognition because he is consistently focused on finding ways to make the jobs of his fellow associates easier so they can deliver patient care better.
Whenever associates have IT-related issues, Clint works closely with them and really listens to what their problem is – and then involves them in the solution, even if it might mean more work for him. One example is when Clint took the time to check all phone equipment in a department when one piece of equipment was found outdated. Though not requested of him, Clint assessed all of the phones to ensure that things were running smoothly and the phones were ringing appropriately.
Clint performs his work with a respectful and friendly attitude; he always makes associates feel important. As one co-worker stated, “He made me feel that my issue was significant to him so I had confidence that he would solve the problem.”
