FORT PIERCE — Three Indian River State College District Board of Trustee Members, Vicki Davis of Stuart, Tony George of Stuart, and Sandy Krischke of Fort Pierce, have been reappointed by Governor Rick Scott to continue their service as members of the IRSC Board.

Davis, 65, serves as Supervisor of Elections for Martin County and has been reappointed for a term beginning December 21, 2017 and ending May 31, 2021.

George, 55, is a partner at Fox Wackeen Law Firm. He received his bachelor’s and juris doctorate degrees from the University of Florida. George is reappointed for a term beginning February 1, 2018 and ending May 31, 2019.

Krischke, 44, is founder and president of Independence Classical Academy, Inc., and the President of K2 Strategies, LLC. She is reappointed for a term beginning December 21, 2017 and ending May 31, 2021.

Both Davis and Krischke appointments have been approved by the Florida Senate, and George’s appointment awaits Senate confirmation. Other IRSC District Board of Trustee members are: Jose L. Conrado and Mark A. Feurer from Indian River County, Christa Luna and Phoebe Raulerson from Okeechobee County, and J. Brantley “Brant” Schirard Jr. and Susan R. Caron from St. Lucie County.

The IRSC District Board of Trustees is comprised of nine members appointed by the Governor. Three members are from St. Lucie County and two members each are from Indian River, Martin and Okeechobee counties. The board serves as the governing body responsible for establishing and overseeing policies of the College.
